We're so excited that you registered for Tryouts! Please note that this form serves as your official check-in information (this does not replace your tryout registration).
Completing this quick check-in allows you to indicate:
- The specific team level you are aiming for.
- The position(s) you are trying out for.
- Gathers all pertinent information needed for the tryout process beyond your registration.
To ensure a smooth and efficient process when you arrive, we highly encourage you to complete this form prior to your first date of tryouts.
2026-2027 Prodigy Volleyball Tryouts
We are excited to welcome both returning and new athletes to Prodigy Volleyball Academy for our Club Tryouts!
Please review the information below before registering.
Registration Information
- Tryout times and levels will be communicated before the start of tryouts. Registrations directly determine these times. Times will be communicated as quickly as possible.
- Athletes are strongly encouraged to attend two tryout sessions within their age group.
- Attending two sessions gives athletes the best opportunity for evaluation, although our coaching staff can complete a full evaluation if an athlete is only able to attend one session.
It is very important to indicate your athlete’s primary position correctly during tryouts so our coaches can ensure the most accurate evaluation.
Tryout Fees
- Early Bird (July 16th - 22nd): $85
- Standard(July 23rd - Aug 8th): $95
- Late Registration/Walk-Up (After Aug 9th): $105
All tryout fees are non-refundable.

What you need to know for Try-Outs
Step 1
Purchase / Renew your USAV + GEVA Membership (You may purchase a tryout membership beginning in July 2026. A full-year membership or club affiliation is not required until you are selected for one of our teams.)
If you have a valid 2025–26 USAV membership, you do not need to renew for August tryouts. Your membership expires August 31, 2026.
Step 2
Register based on your athlete’s incoming grade,
- 14s -8th Grade (Birthday on or before July 1, 2012)
- 16s - 10th Grade (Birthday on or before July 1, 2010)
- 18s - 12th Grade (Birthday on or before July 1, 2008; birthdays between this date and July 1, 2017 must prove that they enrolled in high school for the current academic year)

What Type of Prodigy Player Am I?
Choosing the right level is an important part of having a successful and enjoyable club volleyball season. Read through the descriptions below to see which level best matches your goals, experience, and commitment.
Premier Level
Premier is our highest and most competitive level. These athletes are experienced, highly competitive, and willing to make a significant commitment to their development. Premier players are often interested in playing volleyball at the collegiate level and are motivated to push themselves beyond regular practices. They embrace challenging competition, seek additional opportunities to improve, and are dedicated to growing both their skills and their understanding of the game.
Elite Level
Elite players are competitive athletes with volleyball experience who are striving to become impact players on their high school teams. They are committed to attending practices, day tournaments, and overnight tournaments, and they work hard to continue improving. Elite athletes take volleyball seriously while also enjoying the friendships and excitement that come with being part of a competitive team.
Club Level
Club is designed for players who are continuing to develop their volleyball skills and game knowledge. These athletes enjoy competing, learning, and being part of a team environment. While we always strive to compete and win, our primary goal is continuous improvement every time we step on the court. Club teams focus on fundamentals, learning all aspects of the game, and building confidence through mostly day tournaments with one overnight tournament.
