Lauren started playing volleyball in 7th grade. She was a multi-sport athlete, earning a Division II athletic scholarship. Lauren participated in the National tournament 3 out of her four years, making it to The Elite 8. She has been the Varsity Volleyball Coach at Ossining High School since 2010 with five years as JV coaching experience prior to that. Lauren has won many league titles, five section titles, a Regional title and played in the New York State Championship Tournament. She was integral in helping many of her players to play at the collegiate level, often with scholarships covering some or all of their tuition. She was league representative for Section 1 volleyball for numerous years, supporting coaches and bridging information and attended many clinics, conferences and workshops to support this role.

Lauren coaches club volleyball and has experienced many successful seasons, measured not just in volleyball growth, but personal growth as well. Lauren has worked as a volleyball coach for multiple summer camps and has run and organized clinics and camps.  She is proud to work with a phenomenal team of experienced and supportive coaches at Prodigy which makes all of the difference.

Lauren is an Elementary Special Education teacher in the Ossining School District.

Masoomeh (Massi) Angooti is an experienced and passionate volleyball coach with a strong educational foundation, holding degrees in Sports Management and Sport Coaching.  Currently, she is the Boys Varsity Head Volleyball Coach at Somers High School and coaches National Teams where she is known for her ability to prepare athletes for high-level competition.

A former international player for the Iran National Women’s Volleyball Team and D1 player, Massi represented her country in the Asian Nations Cup where she became well-known for her impressive vertical jump and has earned several accolades, including a District A Championship and a spot on the NJCAA All-Tournament Team with Monroe Mustang Women’s Volleyball.

Massi is excited to bring her dedication and expertise to PVA where she looks forward to inspiring and developing the next generation of volleyball players.

Andy Cooke is Co-Director of Youth Programs at Prodigy Volleyball Academy, where he runs the Ace League, and co-head coach of 14U Premier. In two decades of coaching, he has led more than 50 teams in volleyball, soccer, baseball, and basketball and has run dozens of clinics, teaching thousands of young athletes the fundamentals and a love of competition. A three-sport athlete in high school, Andy turned to coaching when injuries cut his playing career short.

Away from the game, Andy is Director of Communications Systems for the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS) and Scoutmaster of a local Scouting America troop. He lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife and three children.

Pamela played Volleyball for Walter Panas High school and continued her career at Keystone College. She is the Keystone College record holder for career digs(2,002), digs in a season(535), and digs in a match(42), and is the 2nd all-time in CSAC for career digs. Pam was the first and currently the only athlete to hit 2000 digs at Keystone College. She earned conference accolades and honors throughout her career, as well as all tournament team honors.

Pam began coaching in 2016 as a Volunteer Coach for youth programs, continuing through 2021. She has coached club volleyball (2021-26) for age groups 5-17 in all levels, club, elite, and premier. During her club coaching, she has helped lead teams to 3 trophies/banners in the gold bracket. Pam started coaching school volleyball at Peekskill middle school for the modified program in the 2023-24 school year. She was the head coach of Hendrick Hudson’s JV volleyball team and assistant to the varsity team for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school year. Pam is now one of the co head coaches at Somers High School for girls varsity volleyball.

Please join us in welcoming Coach Sharon to the Prodigy Volleyball Academy staff!Coach Sharon brings a unique combination of volleyball experience, professional leadership, education, and a deep commitment to developing young athletes. This year, Sharon will serve as the Head Coach of the 13U Prodigy Club team. As the parent of a high school Prodigy Club player, she understands firsthand the complexities, flexibility, and communication that families need from a club program. She values healthy communication, thoughtful collaboration, and confident, assertive leadership both on and off the court.

For the past four years, she has coached girls, middle school volleyball through the Catholic Youth Volleyball League, serving as the JV Head Coach at St. Patrick’s School in Yorktown, NY. Under her leadership, the team took first seed for their Spring 2026 division, finishing 4th overall in the league, with a roster where 8 of 13 players were first-year athletes.Sharon’s connection to volleyball extends well beyond coaching. In the late 1990s, she was an All-Conference athlete and standout setter in North Jersey, giving her a strong understanding of the technical, strategic, and mental aspects of the game.

Kayla is currently a senior libero and team captain at Manhattanville University. Entering her final season, she has surpassed over 900 career digs and have established herself as a leader for the 4x defending conference champions. She started playing volleyball when she was 10 years old, playing club at the national level every year and spent 5 years on the varsity team for Lakeland High School as an outside hitter. She started coaching when she was 16 years old, assisting in youth rec leagues before becoming a club coach when she was 18. She has coached club for 3 seasons now, gaining experience as both a head and assistant coach at the national, regional, and club levels.

Highlights: 3x Skyline Conference Champion, 3x NCAA Tournament Appearances, 2025 Skyline Second Team All-Conference, 5x Skyline Libero of the Week, 4th in school history for single season digs (507), ranked 20th in NCAA in digs per set (5.45), 7th in school history for career aces (178). High School surpassed 1,000 kills, led Lakeland to their first Section 1 Title and Regional Final appearance in school history.

Lauren played club volleyball for 6 years, High School Volleyball-Varsity 2 years. In that time she was named MVP and earned a regional title. She continued her love of the game and played club volleyball in college.

As a coach, she strives to model good balance through my own physical training, and mental wellbeing. With emphasis on discipline and respect as well as strength development, team bonding, injury prevention and healthy nutrition.

Lauren has been a volunteer coach for 4 seasons, club assistant coach for one year, and is coaching 13 elites for the 26-27 season.
